Fieldwork I provides students with the opportunity to learn ministry-related skills and knowledge through work experience in a prescribed range of Christian ministry areas and departments.

Outcomes

By the end of this paper students should be able to:

  1. Observe and describe the organisation and common activities of a Christian ministry organisation 
  2. Observe and describe a range of roles and responsibilities in a Christian ministry organisation 
  3. Outline the biblical theology supporting the purpose and functions of Christian ministry
  4. Set goals within a ministry context
  5. Organise and participate in tasks and responsibilities of ministry 
  6. Identify the importance of social responsibility within the community
