NZIM Certificate in Management Level 4
The NZIM Certificate in Management is the major foundation management course in New Zealand and is currently provided by approximately 40 tertiary institutions and 70 secondary schools.
It also forms the basis for management training in many companies. Papers for the Certificate are included as components of other qualifications, including foundation studies and trades qualifications.
For students from non-English speaking backgrounds, this course provides the opportunity to improve English skills at the same time as studying a range of stimulating and relevant topics. Optional English tutorials are provided as part of the programme.
Entry requirements:
Students must be:
* At least 16 years old and have satisfactorily completed Year 11 at secondary school, OR
* Over 20 years old, OR
* Have special admission from the Programme Director. Students from non-English-speaking backgrounds should have English ability equivalent to IELTS 5.5 as assessed by our entry test. Students with English ability of IELTS 5.0 may be permitted to enter the course provided they attend the English tutorials provided as part of the programme or enrol in a part-time English language programme.
