Spoken English is the hardest part of learning English for me; I did not know there were techniques to make my speaking fluent.  Before attending the Spoken English course at Phlair, I had a lot of problems with pronunciation.

 

At the beginning, I could not catch up with native speakers and had trouble speaking English fluently.  But the Spoken English course helped me to correct my mistakes with vowels and consonants and improve my listening.  Dictation is my favourite part of the course.  All the things that were taught have helped me greatly.   I have gained a lot of knowledge and confidence from the course. 

 

Recently, some residents and staff said that my English has improved.  Now, I feel that I have confidence to talk to people.  I still remember the first day of the course when my teacher said, “You will get all the tools to help you improve your Spoken English”.  Yes, that promise was kept and I have the tools to build on my English foundation.  I know my spoken English will continue to improve.
