Phlair (now Alphacrucis) 인터내셔날 칼리지에서 Management 과정을 공부하면서 경험한 일들을 여러분과 함께 나누게 되어 기쁩니다. 이 과정을 공부하면서 무엇보다 배우는 학생에게 있어서 가장 중요한 것 중에 하나는 가르치시는 선생님의 열정이라고 생각합니다. 이곳에서 가르치는 모든 분들이 한결 같이 열정을 가지고 가르치시며 그리고 친절하십니다. 게다가 유익하며 현상황에서 실질적으로 사용할 수 있는 지식을 습득할 수 있도록 프로그램이 잘 짜여져 있습니다. 저는 이 과목을 공부하면서 많은 유익한 정보를 습득하게 되었습니다. 기업을 설립하는 데 있어서 그 절차와 반드시 수립해야할 중요한 정책 및 경영 기법 그리고 전산화된 회계 프로그램까지 다룰 수 있게 되었습니다. 이론을 바탕으로 실제적으로 운영되고 있는 기업도 함께 비교하며 공부할 수 있어서 많은 도움이 되었습니다. 저는 이 과정을 마친후 제 개인적인 회사를 운영할려고 계획과 준비를 하였습니다. 하지만 건강이 여의치 않아 목표만 세워 놓고 있습니다. 건강이 허락하면 곧 바로 배운 지식을 근거로 운영할 것입니다. 그리고 아울러 이 학교에서 제공하고 있는 영어 프로그램은 영어가 모국어가 아닌 학생들이 공부하기에 적합한 학교임을 알려드리게 되어 기쁩니다. 이렇게 말씀 드릴 수 있는 이유는 광범위한 이 학교의 경험에 의해 개발된 영어 교육 프로그램은 학생들이 영어를 정복하는데 장애가 되는 점들을 정확히 판단하여 그것을 극복하는데 도움이 되도록 잘 짜여진 프로그램을 운용하고 있기 때문입니다. 그러므로 누구든지 영어를 공부하는 학생이 그 프로그램을 착실히 따라 한다면 좋은 결과를 얻을 것을 확신합니다. 그리고 이 학교가 지니고 있는 강점 중 꼭 언급해야할 한 가지는 바로 교직원들의 친절함입니다. 그들이 모두 가족처럼 친절하기 때문에 영어를 잘 못하는 학생일지라도 영어를 잘몰라 저지르게 될 실수를 두려워 하지 않고 아주 자유롭게 말할 수 있게 됩니다. 그들은 학생들이 말하려는 것을 기꺼이 들으려하고 또 이해하려고 노력합니다. 이 점이 바로 학생들에게 자신감을 주는 큰 용기가 됩니다. 그래서 저는 여러분에게 이 학교에서 여러분의 목적 - 들볶이지 않고 영어를 정복하는것 - 을 달성해 보시기를 권하며 또 여러분의 미래를 이 Phlair college (now Alphacrucis) 에 투자해 보시기를 권하고 싶습니다. Auckland, New Zealand 김 석동 I am very pleased to share my experiences about my time at Phlair International College (now Alphacrucis) studying towards a Certificate in Management. I think that one of the most important things for any course is the teacher’s passion towards the course and the students. All the teachers here are passionate and friendly as well. Moreover, the programme is so well-organized that the students can obtain useful, real-world practical knowledge from this course. I, of course, gained a lot of useful information through this course, such as information about policies and procedures in establishing a company, management techniques, computerized accounting programmes and also had a chance to evaluate an existing company according to the information that was taught. After I finished the course, I planned and prepared to open my own business, following the steps that were taught at the college, but unfortunately I am not healthy enough to operate my own business at this stage. I will open my own business as soon as my physical condition allows this. And it is my pleasure to say that the English Programme provided by this college is good for those who don’t speak English as their first language. I say this because the programme developed by the school’s extensive experience is well equipped to determine the barriers that prevent the students from mastering English and help them to conquer these barriers. Therefore, if anyone who studies English sticks to the programme, I am sure that they can expect good results. And also, I should mention that the one of the strong points of the college IS THEIR FRIENDLY STAFF. They are all friendly like one’s own family, so that the students who don’t speak English very well may speak freely without being scared of making mistakes. They are willing to hear what the students want to say and understand them, which is a huge encouragement which gives confidence to the students.
