In a recent survey undertaken by Alphacrucis, a theology or ministry degree was rated most beneficial for future pastors. The pastors and leaders surveyed represented over 37,000 church attendees from a range of churches and denominations. This indicates that there is increasing recognition that degree level courses are needed within the current and future learning environment. Of equal note was the result that the ideal level of education for current ministers was rated to be a diploma or degree. Other survey results included there is increasing demand in our churches for higher education, professional development/upskilling, greater excellence and management skills.
